Description

Inventory of marine Copepoda and Cladocera (Crustacea) in Norwegian waters.samples from coastal and off-shore locations including the regions Skagerrak, North Sea, Norwegians Sea, Barents Sea and the Arctic Ocean (57- >80 N) . Sampling covered the whole water column (0-1000 m), over a wide salinity gradient: from inner estuaries (<10 ppt) to open ocean (>35 ppt). Sampling with standard MOCNESSand WP2 plankton net.

Méthodes d'échantillonnage

Sampling with standard MOCNESS and WP2 plankton net (180 μm, 90 μm).

Etendue de l'étude Samples obtained from coastal and off-shore locations in Norwegian waters, (57°- >80° N) including the Skagerrak, North Sea, Norwegian Sea, Barents Sea and the Arctic Ocean. Samples from the whole water column (0-1000 m), over a wide salinity gradient (inner estuaries, <10 ppt to open ocean, >35 ppt). In order to account for the seasonal variation in species composition, sampling was performed twice a year (April/May and August/September)
