Sampling Methods

Bark beetles trapped either in special pheromone traps or by using felled trees as trap trees or trap logs. In addition, stumps and residuals after newly felled trees will be inspected for bark beetles. Isolation and culturing of fungi.

Study Extent Sampling of insectes from counties all over Norway. 2014-2016. Mostly conifer forest.
